Bridge — Terms of Use

Effective August 2026

Bridge is licensed, not sold, under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement — the standard terms that apply to apps bought from the App Store. You can read them here:

apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula

Bridge files no custom agreement of its own. The standard terms are the honest default for an app whose whole promise is that your work is yours.

The rest of this page is the plain-language version of what that means here.

Your work is yours

Everything you write, record, film and arrange in Bridge belongs to you. Bridge claims no ownership, no licence, and no rights of any kind over your songs. The developer cannot read them — your work lives on your device and in your own private iCloud, which Apple encrypts. See the privacy policy.

Bridge Pro

Bridge is free to use. Bridge Pro unlocks the craft tools and removes the three-song limit on starting new songs.

  • $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year — auto-renewing subscriptions.
  • $89.99 once — a one-time purchase that does not renew.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged on renewal. Manage or cancel at any time in Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Subscriptions on your iPhone; cancelling stops the next renewal and does not refund the current period.

Purchases and refunds are handled entirely by Apple. Bridge never sees your payment details — only whether Pro is unlocked.

What never locks

Your first three songs are free and yours forever. Whether you subscribe, lapse, or never pay:

  • every song, take, video and lyric stays readable, playable and exportable;
  • nothing you have already made is ever hidden, watermarked, or held back;
  • the only things Pro gates are starting a fourth song and the craft tools.

The free tier is the first three songs you ever start — deleting a song keeps it restorable for 30 days but does not free up a new song slot.

If a subscription ends, Bridge does not take anything away. It stops adding.

Backups are your responsibility

Bridge stores your work on your device and syncs it through your own iCloud account when you’re signed in. iCloud sync is not a backup — a deletion propagates to your other devices, exactly as it should. Keep your own backups of anything you can’t lose: export the song sheets, share the takes.

Deleted items are held for 30 days in Recently Deleted before they are removed permanently.

Age

Bridge is intended for general audiences and contains no objectionable content, no user-generated content shared between people, and no links out to unmoderated material.

No warranty

Bridge is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. It is made with considerable care by one person, and it is still software.

Changes

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.

Governing law

These supplemental terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The standard Apple licensed application terms they supplement carry their own governing-law provision.
